With over 30 years of experience, Dr. Al Rawi started his professional career in 1992, after completing his postgraduate Board study and the orthopedic fellowship, as an orthopedic surgeon and lecturer in Al Anbar medical college and teaching hospital in Iraq. He then worked as an assistant professor and consultant orthopedic surgeon and Deputy Dean of the medical college for the scientific affairs and post graduate studies in 2001, as well as head department of the surgery in the medical college, and head department of orthopedic surgery in Al Ramadi Teaching hospital in Iraq. And then consultant orthopedic surgeon and assistant professor in orthopedics in Baghdad University -Al Kindy college of medicine in Iraq, which was the leading medical school in Iraq. For the last more than 15 years he was working as consultant Orthopedic surgeon and head department of orthopedic surgery, during all his work in a premier hospital in The United Arab Emirates. Dr Maher, served as both a consultant and Assistant Professor, treating thousands of patients of different ages with a wide range of complex and challenging trauma and orthopedics surgeries, at renowned hospitals and medical colleges and being part of the college team, he was supervising and teaching medical students and postgraduate doctors in the field of orthopedic surgery. He is particularly interested in pediatric trauma and orthopedics, as pediatric Orthopedics subspeciality, with extensive experience for managing both primary and referred cases with varying levels of difficulties and complications.
